Tour Baleares: Ibiza parte II

¿Os gustó el post anterior?¿Queréis saber más? Dejadme pensar qué quería contaros.... Ah si! cuales son las mejores calas y playas de la isla para mí entre otras cosa.


Yo busco un lugar sin mucha gente, de aguas transparentes, si es con arena mejor pero si tiene piedras nos ponemos unos escarpines y a disfrutar. Además, en la mayoría de los casos, en las playas de roca, el fondo marino es más bonito, más entretenido. Es divertido ver como corren los peces, como se esconden entre las rocas, algunos tímidos por salir y otros deseosos de libertad, les puede la curiosidad y se acercan a investigar. Hay un mundo dentro del mar digno de admirar.

Las mejores calas se encuentran al norte de la isla, sus aguas cristalinas aunque no turquesas y la ausencia del mogollón de gente son las mejores para bañarse, tomar el sol y querer descubrir más (Portinatx, Puerto de San Miguel, Benirras, Cala San Vicente, Xarraca).

Al Oeste, merece la pena Cala Comte con sus aguas turquesas y de cuento pero hay tanta gente que no es posible ni bañarse ni plantar la sombrilla al menos en agosto, pero es una visita obligada y tamnién tenéis que hacer una parada en Punta Pedreda para ver desde lo alto del acantilado, las olas que rompen furiosas contra las rocas y un mar de un color azul eléctrico.

Al Sur, se encuentran :

• Es Cubels y la playa de las salinas, aunque al igual que la anterior, están muy masificada, estás no son tan bonitas, pero tiene mucho encanto en su imperfección.  
• Cala D´hort desde donde se puede admirar Es vedrá en todo su esplendor y uno de los más bonitos atardeceres

•  Porroig, un acantilado con una bahía en la que pequeños barcos y preciosos veleros hacen un descanso al atardecer.

Y ahora toca el turno de coger fuerzas para seguir con esta aventura. ¡Vamos a comer! ¿Qué os recomiendo?

Cerca de Ibiza en la cala Sa punta hay un resturante: Snack Fish, está bastante escondido, si sois aventureros como yo y os adentráis en la nada al estilo Indiana Jones, se encuentran grandes tesoros. y así fue como lo encontré, un restaurante situado literalmente sobre el mar y con vistas a la ciudad de Ibiza , es parada obligatoria (Precio normal, pescado exquisito, fresco y vistas inigualables y lo mejor el poste; probad el flao ibicenco). Eso sí, se llena rápido a la hora de la comida, hay bastante cola pero va rápido, no os desesperéis con la cola, merece la pena.

En San Antonio, id a cenar a Natural Pau, es un oasis en mitad de tanto bullicio, se trata de un italiano con unas pizzas artesanas, ingredientes naturales rodeado de árboles, velas y luces que en su conjunto, es un placer para todos los sentidos.

En la zona Norte, hacia el interior de la isla, hay un pueblecito que se llama San juan de labritja, con mas restaurantes que casas, donde se encuentra un restaurante vegetariano, con la mejor pasta que he probado en mucho tiempo. Era totalmente casero y a un precio normal, no es caro para ser ecológico y todo hecho a mano, se llama Sabores Naturales.

He de reconocer, que no ha sido fácil encontrar buenos sitios para disfrutar de la comida mediterránea, buscaba unas vacaciones donde poder comer bastante pescadito fresco a buen precio y en cambio me he encontrado con una isla que vive sólo para el turismo Americano y europeo, con restaurantes con cartas sólo en alemán e inglés, precios para turistas, mucha carne, hamburguesas, perritos y pasta. ¿Con la variedad de alimentos que tenemos en la dieta mediterránea, porque no la fomentamos? No quiero decir que no podamos adaptar las cartas o incorporar comidas de otros países solo digo que, tiene que abundar nuestra gastronomía y no al revés. No nos podemos olvidar que cuando vamos a visitar un país lo que nos enriquece es conocer su cultura, disfrutar de su comida, de sus costumbres, de su vida.

Bueno, ahora que ya hemos disfrutado de las playas de Ibiza, de una buena comida, vamos a disfrutar de su fiesta.

Ibiza es conocida por sus fiestas como todos sabemos, Playa d´en Bossa con sus conocidas discotecas de moda: Usuahia, Hi... son las preferidas para salir por la noche. No puedo opinar sobre ellas porque no entré, la entrada sin consumición estaba entorno a 60-80 euros y viendo como estaban las calles de los alrededores, decidí no entrar. Me esperaba otra cosa, quizás ese fue el problema, me imaginaba fiesta en la playa con clubes guays, la gente bailando y pasándoselo bien y me encontré con una calle con mucho tráfico, repleta de gente borracha que discutía y se tiraban cosas. En ese sentido me desilusionó.

Se me olvidaba contaros uno de lugares más únicos y curiosos de Ibiza al que tenéis que ir... El Mercado de las Dalias, por la noche. Se trata de un mercadillo hippy, pero no de uno cualquiera es una ciudad repleta de puestos, de colores, de artilugios, repleto de gente. Tiene mucho encanto, es divertido pasear entre sus calles, pararte a conversar con el dependiente, encontrarte con un concierto de musica alternativa y detenerte a escucharlo, tomarte algo en alguno de sus puestos que son muy cool, tiene magia. Y si luego quieres llevarte un recuero de la Isla no hay mejor sitio para comprarlo, aunque el precio será más alto que en otros lugares.

I look for a place without many people, crystalline waters, I prefer sandy beaches but if it has pebbles we just put on some flip flops and we are ready to enjoy it. In addition, in most cases, on rocky beaches, the seabed is more beautiful, more entertaining. It is fun to see how the fish swim around, how they hide among the rocks, some are shy to go out and others eager for freedom, they can be very curious and come out investigate. There is a world within the sea worth admiring.

The best small bays are on the north of the island, its crystal clear but not exactly turquoise waters the ones whitout people are the best to bathe, sunbathe and if you want to discover more, try: Portinatx, Puerto de San Miguel, Benirras, Cala San Vicente, Xarraca.

To the west, Cala Comte is worth it with its turquoise and fairy tale waters but there are so many people so it is not possible to bathe or plant the umbrella at least in August, but it is a "must see" and you also have to stop at Punta Pedreda to see , the waves that break furious against the rocks from the top of the cliff and also a sea with different blue hues.

To the South, there are: 

• Cubels and the beach of the salinas, although like the previous one they are overcrowded and it´s not so nice, but it has a lot of charm in its imperfection. 
• Cala D'hort from where you can admire es vedrá in all its splendor and one of the most beautiful sunsets
•  Porroig, a cliff with a bay where small boats and beautiful sailboats take a break at dusk.

And now it's the turn to gather strength to continue this adventure. Let's eat! What do I recommend?

Near Ibiza in Cala Sa Punta there is a restaurant: Snack Fish, it is bite hidden, if you are adventurous like me and you enter into the unknow Indiana Jones style, you will find great treasures. and this is how I found it, a restaurant located literally on the sea and overlooking the city of Ibiza, it´s a obligatory stop (afordable prices, exquisite fish, fresh and unparalleled views and try the Ibizan flao, it´s a delicious and magic dessert). The only thing is that it fills up fast at lunch time, there is usually a big queue but it goes fast, do not despair with the queue because it's worth it.

In San Antonio, go and have dinner at Natural Pau, it is an oasis in the midst of so much bustle, it is an Italian restaurant with some artisan pizzas, natural ingredients surrounded by trees, candles and lights that all together is a pleasure for the senses.

In the north, towards the interior of the island, there is a small village called San Juan de Labritja, with more restaurants than houses, where there is even a vegetarian restaurant, with the best pasta I have tasted in a long time. It was totally homemade and at a good price, it is not expensive to be ecological and everything is handmade and it called Natural Flavours.

I must admit that it has not been easy to find good places to enjoy the Mediterranean food, I was looking for a holiday where I can eat a lot of fresh fish at a good price and instead I have found an island that lives only for American and European tourism, with restaurants with menus only in German and English, tourists prices ,lots of meat, hamburgers, hot dogs and pasta. With the variety of foods we have in the Mediterranean diet, why not promote them? I do not want to say that we can not adapt the menu or incorporate food from other countries, I´m just saying that our gastronomy is abundant and not the other way around. We can not forget that when we go to visit a country what enriches us is to know its culture, to enjoy its food, its customs and its way of life.

Well, now that we have already enjoyed the Ibiza beaches and a good meal, it´s time to enjoy the party. Ibiza is known for its parties as we all know, En Bossa Beach with its well-known fashion clubs: Usuahia, Hi ... are the favorite places to go out at night. I can not comment on them because I did not enter, the entrance without a drink was around 60-80 euros and seeing as they were the surroundings streets, I decided not to go in. I expected something else, maybe that was the problem, I imagined partying on the beach with cool clubs, people dancing and having fun and I found a street with lots of traffic, full of drunken people arguing and throwing things. In that sense I was disillusioned.

I forgot to tell you one of the most unique and curious places of Ibiza that you have to go ... The Market of the Dahlias, at night. It is a hippy market, but not like most places, it is a city full of stalls, colors, gadgets, full of people. It has a lot of charm, it's fun to walk along its streets, stop and talk to the shop keepers, came across an alternative music concert and stop to listen to it, have something in some of their stalls that are very cool, it has a lot of magic. And if you want to take a souvenir from the Island afterwards there is no better place to buy it, although the price will be higher than elsewhere.
