¿Cuál me recomendáis?

Hi, my dear lovers of pleasure!

Is there a better plan for one of those "silly days" than popcorn (ecological), blanket and a good book? (In another entry, I'll talk to you about my obsession for healthy food).

When I say a "good book", I mean the one that you really like, that makes you disconnect and travel with it and you do not realize where you have spent your time and the remaining hours of the day ... The book with which you become the protagonist of the story, you can not stop laughing or crying, you enjoy reading each page and you don´t want it to end and you don´t realize how tired you actually  are ...

That happened to me with the books of Elisabet Benavent. One day, I came across her book by chance in a bookstore ... I am passionate about merging with the books, looking at what their covers suggest to me, picking them up and feel their touch, their smell, whether they are new or old, to sense what they want to tell me ... As soon as, I walk into a bookstore, there is always a book that chooses me. Yet, it's not me who decides, it's the book, something strange invites me to want to know more about it. And that happened to me with this author and her book: "Chasing Silvia"

It's a different book, very different from other girly books, I did not think the plot was going to make me feel so many things ... I fell in love with each one of the characters, I felt their emotions to such an extent that it made me cry uncontrollably and  laughed my head off, I traveled to places that I have never been before, but now they are now wellknown to me. I did not mind not sleeping, the book had me hooked, every page contained a little bit more of their lives, another instant that I did not want it to vanish..

I leave the link to you to check the plot, so you can read it, it will not disappoint you! I do not want to tell you anything melse about it, I want it to surprise you like it did to me. (They are two books).

Once I read them, I could not wait to continue reading more of this incredible author, Congratulations to the author! For me"chasing Silvia" are the best, although the rest are also incredible.

I know it,  I' know I´m talking a lot again .... But how can I not do this if I am talking about my passions? Forgive me but I can not finish this entry without talking about another good book: "Noah's Notebook" by Nicholas Sparks. Many of you, I am sure  know him by his film "The Notebook", but as it happens most of the time, the book surpasses the film, it is a thousand times better. Do you like love stories? This is the love story par excellence, at least for me. How can I not fall in love if the book starts like this?

"Who am I, and how will this story end?" It was just dawn and I am sitting next to a window tarnished by the breath of a lifetime "

How does this sentence make you feel? The author's way of writing, the passion he puts in each line, the words he uses, the timing, how he talks about the love of youth which lasts in time, reaching maturity and becoming the love of your lifetime.

For those who do not yet know it, the book talks of a love of youth between two different social classes: the love of Noah, who reads every day his diary, with all those moments of happiness that he has been adding over time, to the love of his life. Told this way, it may not seem to much, so read it and tell me what do you think about it.

Forgive me guys if this entry has been a little more focused on girls but today, I really wanted to do this post.

And now tell me: Have you read any of these books? What book makes you believe in the impossible? Does it take you to increidible places? Does it amuse you? What book would you recommend me?

I will see you soon! In the meantime, enjoy the little pleasures of life!

  1. Hello MaryGrace!!
In the first time CONGRATULATIONS for this post.
You write with excitement, caress and dedication and it is transmits when I read the text.
In relation with the books that you recommend yo us, in my opinion, the first author Elisabet Benavent is not good as the books of Nicholas Sparks. She writes with more details that him and it do that any chapters are slow.
For this reason "El diario de Noah" for my is better than "Persiguiendo a Silvia". In this case dear MaryGrace, I do not have the same opinion that you but it is not bad, jejejejejejeje.
On the order hand, In this time I stay reading a fantastic book that, with your permission MaryGrace, I would to tell the tittle, but I do not remmenber the name of the write. It is "La inteligencia emocional ".
The plot tries about the reciently studies about "coeficiente intelectual" and the "inteligencia emocional". Pyschologist, scientist, psychiatist is prove important that it is.
In the last time, the knowledge is not synonymous of sucess, because In the person do not "inteligencia emocional", never, will be happy.
Well I am waiting your next post with enthusiasm
PD. I love the ecologist food. It will be the next subject
